Choosing memory care for someone you love is incredibly difficult. When I first brought my mom to Falls River, I was scared, emotional, and constantly questioning whether I was doing the right thing.
The beginning was a learning curve for me. I asked a million questions and worried about everything. But once I understood the rhythm of Falls River, I began to see what happens there every day—patience, kindness, compassion, and people who don't simply do a job. They genuinely care.
They learned who my mom was beyond her dementia. They treated her with dignity and affection, and they were incredibly patient with me as I learned to navigate a world I never wanted to enter.
We have decided to bring Mom home to the Crystal Coast, but it is important to me that people know we are not leaving because Falls River failed us—quite the opposite. My mom wants to go home to the beach, and I have the opportunity to give her that. If Falls River were closer to us, I would absolutely find a way to make it work.
Thank you for loving my mom, for seeing the woman she still is beneath this disease, and for giving this daughter peace when she desperately needed it.

Ginger has been amazing to work with, you can tell how much she cares about seniors and goes above and beyond to make sure they are well informed and taken care of. Always available and really takes her time to make sure you understand the complexity and next steps of not only senior living but senior care.
Falls River AL and Memory Care is a great community in North Raleigh. Ginger Dawson, the sales director, is delightful to work with. You can clearly see her passion in helping our seniors. She is always working after hours and continues to go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I recently toured Falls River Village Assisted Living and Memory Care with my grandmother to explore options for my grandfather. Both communities, whether for everyday assisted living or memory care, impressed us with their exceptional cleanliness. The staff was wonderful, and the residents appeared genuinely happy. Our tour guide, Virginia "Ginger," stood out as incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and just all around a great person . We gathered valuable information, and though my granddad isn't ready to move yet, we've decided that Falls River Village is the top choice for him when he transitions from independent living. Highly recommend!
