My TerraBella Greensboro rating is only "fair". I have no reference to other assisted living facilities. Brighton management sold this facility to us under a bunch of half truths and misinformation. Anyway, TerraBella:
- mostly clean
- room maintenance is mostly okay
- mostly women - ratio is maybe 30-to-1
- staff is nice but needs a lot more training/professionalism
- food is low quality/barely passable and there is not enough, especially if the staff takes it. Also, if wait too late, no food left.
- difficult to get a seat in dining room unless arrive 30 min early
- 5 gallon water bottles need to be replaced regularly. Coffee and snacks need to be replaced regularly. Inadequate.
- sometimes sickness runs through the place, e.g. norovirus 2 years ago
- this is assisted living, but if assistance is needed, expect to wait maybe a long time
- price is too high
Terra Bella is my mother’s new home. From her intake to her daily services, we have been completely satisfied. The staff is professional and personable. The building is clean, updated, and beautifully decorated for every holiday. All and all, we are happy to be apart of the Terra Bella family.
My father injured his right shoulder at an assisted living facility in High Point NC. We had to relocate him to a rehab center in Greensboro. Medicare would only cover 20 days there. My dad needed nursing care beyond the 20 days. In our search for a facility that could provide that care, we found Terra Bella. We can't say enough about the office staff at Terra Bella. They were holding our hands every step of the way with the paper work and financing options and helped us get through a very stressful day . We actually experienced a sense of relief because of their assistance. What a blessing. Now ,here we are three months later. The transformation I've seen in my father is almost miraculous. The care plan implemented by Terra Bella has been a success. His arm injury is healing nicely due to attentive therapists. The care givers and nurse staff and their interaction with him has lifted his spirit. The same can be said for the front desk staff, the staff in the kitchen and those who serve. We've seen how you all get to know each person and call them by name and make them feel important. Thank you all. It's hard to leave a loved one somewhere else besides home. You have created an environment for my father that he considers a home, where he is loved and cared for and feels safe. We couldn't ask for anything more. God bless you all
My experience at TerraBella Greensboro has been nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I walk in, I feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable and cared for.
We have had a good experience-my mother has been a resident for 3 years. The activities staff are very caring and dedicated. I would like to see some improvements to the dining service. But my mom is well cared for and busy with lots of nice activities. The staff on my mom's floor really care about her and do a good job taking care of her. I am at the nursing home frequently. Physical therapy department is run by an outside firm and they are all terrific.
