I smile when I think about Tampa Gardens. I started looking for an ALF for my mom diagnosed with FTD in February. I toured 5 different places and several were a bit depressing, had weird smells or were just expensive. Tampa Gardens feel was different in a great way. Felt like a hotel bc it was a Marriott before with nice upgrades in furnishing/renovation. But most importantly are the individuals working there as well as living there; everyone is truly so nice! We moved my mom in the beginning of May & I thought my mom would be upset bc there’s usually a stigma with ALF’s but to my surprise she loves it which is amazing! My mom said the food is good too & she loves she can eat ice cream for lunch & dinner lol. I’m so grateful for Tampa Gardens & especially Sam
L. for helping us with this process; she’s such a gem!
The senior director Sam was amazing. She called me and answered the question I had and even answered questions I didnt know I had! Very knowledgeable and just super nice.
I have lived at Tampa Gardens for a year now and I couldn’t be happier. The staff and administrators are so friendly, helpful and supportive. They go out of their way to make your life here as comfortable and welcoming as possible. The building is well maintained, clean and it’s pet friendly. My cat, Eleanor, is here with me which was very important. There are plenty of things to do and the event coordinator is very creative. We have live music regularly, painting, bingo, arm chair traveling and outings to restaurants, shopping and picnics etc. You can be as busy as you want to be. They provide free transportation to doctor’s appointments which is a big plus for me!
Dining is provided with a choice of two entrees for lunch and dinner. We eat off real plates and flatware with cloth napkins, no paper! The servers and kitchen staff are very accommodating and sweet. I highly recommend Tampa Gardens. It feels like home.
Sam was excellent from beginning and end of stay. She was very friendly and accommodating. Great place for my grandpa
