I had a very positive experience at Hyde Park Assisted Living. The facility is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. A few months ago, I brought my mom there, and she was treated with great care and kindness. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a caring and comfortable place for their loved ones.
This is one of the most disappointing senior living facilities I have ever encountered. The quality of life afforded to many residents appears to be an afterthought. The food is consistently complained about by residents, and after seeing what is served, I can understand why. Many meals look unappetizing, lack variety, and fall far below what anyone would expect for elderly individuals who are paying significant amounts of money to live here.
What is most heartbreaking is seeing how many residents seem unhappy, discouraged, and forgotten. These are people who spent their lives working, raising families, and contributing to society, yet many appear to be treated as a revenue source rather than valued human beings.
It is hard to understand why management cannot invest in simple things that would improve residents' lives...a cookout, special meals, more activities, or any effort that shows genuine care. Instead, the impression left is that cost-cutting comes first and resident satisfaction comes last.
If you are considering this facility for a loved one, pay close attention to the dining experience and resident morale. In my opinion, the residents deserve far better than what I have observed here. I wouldn't recommend this place.
I came to Hyde Park ALF to visit was nice and cleaned up staff was working and helping take care of the residents. Ana the administrator assistant was so nice and very helpful with all the question I asked. I would allow Hyde Park to care for my family.
Keep up the good work!!!
I visited Hyde Park and did a walk through. Staff was very nice and very helpful with everything i needed and asked. Staff was busy helping residents. Residents seem to be very happy. Ana the administrator assistant was very nice and helpful..
My family and I have been incredibly happy with hyde park alf. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured. They’ve been patient, attentive, and truly seem to care about the residents as people, not just as tasks to manage.
