My mom has been a resident at Discovery Tampa Palms for nearly two years. She started in Assisted Living and later transitioned to Memory Care. While that wasn't an easy change for our family, the staff made the transition so much easier with their kindness, compassion, and unwavering support.
A special thank you to Stephanie, Ruby, and Jessica in Memory Care. They have cared for my mom with such genuine love and compassion, and I'll always be grateful for the difference they've made in her life. Thank you to the entire team for giving our family peace of mind and treating my mom with such dignity and care.
I had the opportunity to visit the facility for professional reasons. Mary Jane at the front desk is a delight. She is articulate and compassionate and helpful. The facility itself is a beautiful piece of architecture, nicely outfitted. It was clean, quiet and spacious. The residents were on an outing that day.
My parents, 99 and 94 are residents at Discovery Village. For peace of mind it was time to move them into their 1 BR apt. It even has a kitchen where they can make their favorite dish if they want to have some home cooking. Mom fell and she pressed her life alert and immediately 3-4 staff members came to mom’s side to help her. Fortunately she was ok. The facility offers. Three hot meals a day and the staff is friendly and smiles. We chose DV based on the activities offered and the brightness in the center. It has a hotel type of feel in the lobby with the piano for entertainment and there is a theater and library. I would definitely recommend checking Discovery Village when seeking options for your loved ones. We looked at 3-4 and are very happy with our decision as are my parents.
My mother has been a resident at Discovery Village at Tampa Palms for nearly 8 years and my father was there nearly 4 years before passing away. It has been a wonderful experience. This place is wonderful. The building is clean, kept fresh and very nice. But the real positive is the staff. What a bunch of caring and loving people who genuinely care deeply for the residents! Everyone is always smiling and friendly, and treat their residents (and guests) with great care and affection. The quality of wellness care is exceptional. The level of communication from the staff is incredible. The residents have so many activities to take advantage of, and new activities are introduced consistently. The food is tasty and well planned, and residents have many options to choose from. Our family is thrilled that our mother is in such a fine facility, and appreciate the great care my father received while he was in the memory care unit. Angeline and her staff are outstanding - and then some! You can't go wrong considering this as your or your family members' next home. You'll be very satisfied, and will be assured your family is receiving great care.
Discovery Village at Tampa Palms is an exceptional community that prioritizes every detail to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. The community is beautifully maintained, always clean, and exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. During my visits, I have observed residents who are engaged, content, and thriving in their surroundings.
The community’s nurse, Rhonda, demonstrates remarkable dedication and compassion in her role. She consistently provides attentive care, addressing residents’ needs promptly and striving to deliver the highest standard of service.
Discovery Village is truly a wonderful place for our senior citizens to call home, offering a nurturing and supportive environment for their well-being and happiness.
