It’s hard for me to express how much I love Parkside Tamarac! Seema and her staff are meticulous, caring, kind, and incredible. Every nurse and aide that I have met has been caring, and very considerate to my mother and the other residents. Jorge, is the glue that keeps the activities and the Residence together. He seems like he does everything for everybody. Has an incredible personality, is always around, and loves the residents sincerely. My father has been in Parkside for almost 4 months now. Having to place him in a memory care facility was the hardest decision of my life and one I didn't take lightly. I live in Miami and visited a few places near me (in the same price range) and was not impressed.
I am happy to drive the one-hour (plus) to go visit him on a weekly basis because Parkside is absolutely amazing. From the moment I met the Owner, Seema, she made me feel comfortable and understood.
The facility is new, clean, organized and has the most wonderful staff members. Everyone is so loving and caring and treats the residents so kindly. The rooms are well furnished; there are plenty of activities to keep residents busy and the staff is very open with communication and addressing any concerns.

From the very first time we contacted Parkside Tamarac, Ms. Seema Lakhani, the facility’s Nurse and Director, provided us with invaluable support. She even took the time to personally visit the facility where my husband was staying at the time, a place where I felt little effort was being made to help him.
My husband arrived at Parkside after a hospitalization, heavily medicated and in a profoundly lethargic state. Under Seema’s leadership and guidance, a careful process began to reduce and adjust his medications. Gradually, he started to regain abilities he had lost. He went from being unable to walk or feed himself to being able to do both independently once again.
The entire staff played an important role in his recovery, especially George, who was there throughout my husband’s adjustment and detoxification process. Beyond their professionalism, they have shown genuine compassion and kindness. They have treated my husband with dignity, patience, and affection, always finding a way to bring a smile to his face.
The quality of the food is excellent—nutritious, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. The facility is kept clean and well-maintained, and the staff consistently ensures that each resident has clean clothing and receives the care and attention they need.
The recreational activities are enjoyable and engaging, and the activity coordinators make every effort to encourage residents to participate, stay stimulated, and remain socially and emotionally engaged.
As a family, we are deeply grateful for the care, dedication, and compassion we have found at Parkside Tamarac. They have made a tremendous positive difference in my husband’s life and have given our family great peace of mind during a very challenging journey.
