Recently took a tour with Carrie. She was very friendly and informative. The facility was clean and bustling with activity. Although that can be a positive, I also saw that it could become very easy for residents to fall through the cracks. It did seem well run, far better than their other location, Suncoast Club. The most affordable room was like a shoebox. Not much room to get around in, especially if you need a walker or scooter. There was no counter space at all in the bathroom, or medicine cabinet, and the closet was tiny. To move my mom in there would cost $8,000 because of their community fee on top of the rent. All facilities unfortunately charge this fee. I don't know too many elderly people that have an extra $8,000 lying around. Usually, they can absorb this cost into your rent, but now the rent you can barely afford goes up. I would say this facility is worth taking a look at comparative to so many others for this price range. I pray your loved ones are well taken care of here. God bless!
I have been here a long time and Margine is the best ED that we have ever had, and after many years she made sure I had the carpet removed and nice flooring. Margine is making great changes in our community. Thank you Suncoast East
We did a lot of research trying to find the best assisted living center for my Grandma. I am forever grateful for finding and choosing Heron East. Megan has been such a blessing and so kind not only to my Grandma, but to our whole family as well.
From our very first experience with Heron East was wonderful. Suzanne has been fabulous! She has been kind, helpful and her positive enthusiasm has been AMAZING! We had a great feeling from moment we pulled into the parking lot. Brad and Suzanne have guided us with knowledge and reassurance. Every staff member has been patient and gracious. We introduced ourselves to other residents and they agreed that the food is great and staff is wonderful! We feel our mother will be safe and very well cared for!
Megan Corey is absolutely wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make every patient feel cared for and supported. Her kindness, compassion, and professionalism shine through in everything she does. Megan not only provides excellent medical care, but also brings comfort and reassurance during difficult times. She is truly dedicated to her patients, and it shows in her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine concern. Your company is so lucky to have her. She is an outstanding and a truly special person.
