Clifford Smith★★★★★4 weeks agoWe've been trying to call for several minutes and call goes to voice mail stating mailbox is full and then hangs up. We were advised to call Sodalis corporate office and no one is available until Monday. We were then directed to call the elderly abuse line.
How are we to check on a family member?
Very disappointed with this facility.
They're understaffed
Abby Michael★★★★★a year agoFrom the moment you walk through the doors at Sodalis Pensacola, you’re greeted with warmth and kindness. The staff here are truly exceptional — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to both residents and visitors. They go out of their way to make everyone feel at home, creating an atmosphere of comfort and trust.
The community itself is absolutely beautiful — well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and full of inviting spaces that encourage relaxation and social connection. Whether it’s the peaceful outdoor areas or the cozy, light-filled common rooms, everything about Sodalis Pensacola reflects care and quality.
It’s clear that this is a place where people matter. You can feel the sense of community and dedication in everything they do. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive and uplifting environment for themselves or a loved one.
Dawson Caples★★★★★a year agoI’m a firefighter and I go in and out of places similar to this one all the time and I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed with the renovations. The rooms are spacious, modern, and designed with personalization in mind. Each resident has the opportunity to make their space feel like home, which is so important for comfort and well-being.
The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the neutral tones of the decor create a calming atmosphere. The rooms are big enough to accommodate personal furniture, family photos, and other cherished items, making it easier for residents to maintain their individuality and feel at ease.
Beyond the rooms, the common areas have also been updated and are warm and inviting. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. Staff members are attentive and seem genuinely invested in the residents’ happiness and health.
If you’re looking for a place that combines high-quality care with a space that truly feels like home, this is a great option. The ability to personalize the living spaces is a wonderful touch that sets this facility apart from others.
Stephen Morton★★★★★2 years agoWe recently had to move my mother from an assisted living facility in AL to Sodalis-Pensacola. The facility is nice, clean and has the amenities and services we need. Most important, every single staff member we've met, from the custodial staff to the Executive Director, has been welcoming and helpful. We've had first-hand experience with other similar facilities. Sodalis-Pensacola is far superior to any other we've experienced.
Robert Breckner★★★★★7 years agoTAKE YOUR LOVED ONE ELSEWHERE
At first appearance this facility is a throw back from 1980. When you walk in the door there is an odor of mildew that no matter how hard they try they can't mask it, when you ask about the smell they act as if it does not exist. The first time I visited I roamed around for 5 minuted before someone noticed I was there. Once noticed they were friendly and accommodating. The lovely ladies that work in the dementia area are fantastic. So even though the place was very dingy it was the only place I could afford and that would accept my fathers level of care. Many times I had to visit in the evening. It never seemed like anyone was working. The ladies in the dementia area said it was not unusual for there to be only 2-3 staff working at night (with over 80 residence) because they couldn't get anyone to work that shift. The final topper was them administering a FLU shot to my dad without consent. He had moved into the facility 3 months earlier and they had his records stating he had a FLU shot right before moving in. So upon getting an unnecessary FLU shot, he got the FLU, then pneumonia, which lead to his death. Now all I get is the run around from them and an unjustified bill. Take your loved one elsewhere.
