New Image Youth Center★★★★★7 months agoHarborChase of Dr. Phillips truly exceeded our expectations! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
As an organization, they generously provided over 50 professionally prepared lunches for our youth during spring break, and the quality was outstanding. Everything was thoughtfully prepared by their chefs and delivered with care.
Not only are they community-focused, but they are also incredibly compassionate, intentional, and committed to making a real impact. Their kindness and support helped make this experience even more special for our kids.
We are beyond grateful for their partnership and continued dedication to pouring into the community! 💙
David Clarke★★★★★4 months agoMy wife and I are debating whether or not to move from Virginia Beach to Orlando or to another city in Virginia. After our tour (and lunch) with Mortrez, we decided that if we decide on Orlando, and if we decide on an Independent Living community, it will be at HarborChase at Dr. Phillips. The buildings and grounds are pristine, the feeling is one of warmth, and the staff was friendly and professional. It is expensive, of course, but all inclusive, and much more practical and flexible for us than a Life Care facility.
Robin Alaimo★★★★★4 months agoMy sister has been a resident at Harbor Chase for three months, they have a program called Sound That helps new residence get acquainted with the facilities and other residents. My experience is with Diane Cox, who is in charge of the sound program, she has gone over and above to make my sister and myself feel comfortable in the new facilities and meeting other residence. She will text me with updates about my sister. She does extra little things for her and my sister feels like she’s has a friend that she can count on and I feel like I have an extra pair of eyes When I can’t be there. It’s a good place for seniors/memory care patients, Diane makes it a great experience.
Nancy Vitori★★★★★7 months agoCaution: HarborChase of Dr. Phillips Assisted Living
My parents lived here for 41 days (Aug 15–Sept 25, 2025).
After I filed a complaint, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) issued a 48-page Statement of Deficiencies citing failures including not following physician orders and medication-related deficiencies. These findings are public record.
During those 41 days there were three different Executive Directors (DJ, Tammy, and Heather). The Head of Maintenance (Luis) also left.
When I moved my parents out, I confirmed a zero balance. Our sales agent had represented one free month. After move-out, Katherine Schachter (Regional Director of Operations) and Mark McBride (Chief Operating Officer) provided written assurances regarding credits and refunds.
However, full billing statements were not provided until February 26, 2026 — five months later — they overbilled my parents by THOUSANDS for their 41 day stay.
After my parents had already moved out, we received two phone calls delivering the same recorded message from Heather (Executive Director) identifying by first and last name an Independent Living resident who had died by suicide. This automatically played on my Bluetooth with minor children present. I reported this as a potential privacy concern.
Based on our documented experience, I do not recommend HarborChase of Dr. Phillips Assisted Living.
Nice fake response to our review. You overcharged my elderly parents for THOUSANDS. According to your contract all refunds will be paid 30 days after move-out. We are 5 months moved out and the promised refunds were never given. I had to BEG for invoices 5 months after move-out. Add the 48 page of violations because you medically messed up their care. How do you feel being CAUGHT?? You violated your contract!!! Overcharging by thousands and 48 pages of medical care violations. I am local and WARNING all of my neighbors and friends.. BUSTED by state regulators- busted by our family.
Robyn Curry★★★★★4 years agoIndependent Living here is wonderful and the perfect mix of residents starting in their 50's. We've met a lot of new friends through the abundance of activities and social gatherings. Each staff member knows you by name which speaks volumes for their attention to each resident and individual needs. As for the food, 5 star...no complaints. We even have our special evening cocktail named after us and served as soon as we sit down! Now that's pretty special!! I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we have.
