As a family member living out of state, trusting others with the care of your loved one is never easy. From the moment our family member moved into American House Naples, Sharon Grund, Director of Wellness, and her incredible collaborative team of wellness staff, doctors, and caregivers have gone above and beyond in every way possible.
Their communication, compassion, professionalism, and genuine care bring our family such peace of mind. Even from miles away, we know our loved one is safe, cared for, and truly valued every single day. We are beyond grateful for Sharon and her amazing team for making such a difficult situation feel so much easier. Highly recommend!
Recently, we toured with their Sales Director Daryl Boyer. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and stayed late to tour with my wife and I. We got the chance to meet the nurse director Sharon Grund who brought a positive outlook to our situation and was also knowledgeable. The chef was very proud of his staff and food. The building was clean, elegant and a lot of social interaction which we loved. Unfortunately, mom passed before we could move her in. We toured 8 places in Naples. This is the place to go.
This is not just a beautiful place, but more importantly everyone that I’ve encountered are genuinely Kind, Fun, Energetic and treat my Dad with dignity, respect and good hearted humor. It’s so hard seeing memory and physical ability decline in my Dad, however, I am incredibly grateful, and truly Thank God for him being able to be in a first class place with first class, genuine and abundant staff. This place is more than just clean, it’s everything I could want for the man I love more than life. Today Dad “played golf”, enjoyed sitting at the bakery for cold drinks and snacks, and enjoyed walking outside. There are many activities offered, the most I’ve seen in any Memory Care facility that does not feel like a “facilty” at all. My Dad believes this is his Resort, and says he loves it here!
American House Naples is a hidden gem in the senior living communities, everyone is so warm and welcoming and attentive to their residents and guests. They truly do a wonderful job and it’s a beautiful community with Assisted living and Memory Care options.
I signed a contract for a one month stay for recovery for a broken femur. I paid for one month stay and said that I would be returning to my home in Arlington Va where I live. Today, I walked into the Reservation Management Office and said that I would be leaving in less than a month and taking a plane back to Arlington Va. The Reservation Manager said that I would be charged for 2 months because I did not verbally tell them I planned to leave. That is not true at all. I told them on day one that I would only stay a month. Now they say I owe for two months. That is outrageous! I called my lawyer and he agreed with me. I paid for my stay and now they are trying to jack up the price.Poor business practice! Buyer Beware!
