In February 2024, I made the decision to move my widowed dad from Pompano Beach to Miami so he could be closer to family. We toured two facilities, and from the moment we visited The Oasis, we knew it was the right place for him. There was an event happening that day with wonderful food and music, and everyone we met was genuinely warm and welcoming. At first, I wondered if that hospitality was just part of the sales process—but I was wrong.
For the entire two years my dad lived there, the kindness, personal attention, and compassion never wavered. The Oasis truly embodies the meaning of family. As a daughter who didn’t live in Florida, knowing my dad was there gave me tremendous peace of mind.
When his health began to decline, I questioned whether it was time to move him to a higher level of care. The staff gently reassured me that he was exactly where he needed to be—home. My father passed away last month, and it meant everything to us that he was able to spend his final days where he felt most comfortable, not in a hospital.
The care and love shown to him were extraordinary. Everyone—from the Director to the staff—checked on him daily. You could see in their eyes how much they truly cared as he declined. That kind of compassion cannot be taught; it’s simply who they are.
I will forever be grateful to The Oasis for the dignity, comfort, and love they gave my father—and for the peace they gave me.
Very nice place for my Mom! Beautiful apartment and amenities. Very caring staff that provides personal attention to the residents and their families. Festive parties, activities and field trips. Meals and housekeeping included too.
Although our father has not been here very long, we have been very impressed with The Oasis at Coral Reef. Every single person we have met has been kind and professional. We are new to the challenges of dealing with an aging parent, but they have helped us navigate all the complexities. The facilities are clean and beautiful, there are tons of activities to keep the residents engaged, and the food is fresh and healthy. Special thanks to Adis and Ellie for their support in helping our dad get settled.
This review is long overdue. Not enough words to describe the Oasis at Coral Reef. I had the pleasure of visiting my Uncle Richard several times while he was a resident at the Oasis until his recent passing. Yes, it is a beautifully stunning and well-maintained campus. But more importantly, it is a warm, friendly and lively environment. From the moment you enter the lobby to the employees you encounter in the halls—the dining room and activities staff—all contribute to making the Oasis a very special place…in my uncle’s words “It’s perfecto!” He truly lived his final years in a caring and compassionate place that felt like “home.”
Lovely facility both inside and outside, clean and well taken care of. The staff are attentive and caring and there are many activities for the residents to engage in. My mother has settled in nicely into her new home and is enjoying spending time with new friends and caretakers. I am very pleased with the decision our family made for my mother to live here.
