Maureen O'Connor★★★★★4 months agoThe place is very clean, the staff very caring and competent, the out of room common areas are spacious and maintained well.
Stephen★★★★★2 years agoInitially, when we moved to Lake City, we moved Mom into another ALF. It had great past reviews and it looked okay -- maybe a little old and in need of a good cleaning. As time went by we discovered it had a new owner, quite a serious roach problem and the meals were cheap, repetitive and always cold by the time they got to the table. The staff did the best they could with what little resources they had but it was an uphill battle.
We looked around and found Grande Cypress. The difference was like night and day. Yes, it was a little more expensive, but they worked with us and it is worth it. Hot, tasty meals, clean and fresh smelling throughout, lots of light and three big common rooms, not to mention front and back porches and decks with a beautiful view of a lake lined with "grand cypress trees". Friendly, positive staff are a pleasure to talk with. I could go on but suffice to say, this smaller, modern facility will be Mom's final home and she is content. The owner is a local contractor who really put some thought into the design and construction of this place. We are happy.
Laura Hunter★★★★★3 years agoWe love Grand Cypress and my mother is so happy there. The transition for her was so easy due to the wonderful caring staff they have. It is so nice to hear mom say how happy she is and she quickly refers to this as her new home. Please check this beautiful place out for your loved ones. You will not be disappointed.
Luronda Joye★★★★★4 years agoWe love the beautiful welcoming inside and the view to the outside. We especially enjoy sitting in the window filled area that faces the lake. It feels so spacious and fresh. The rooms are larger and well laid out compared to other places we have visited. We highly recommend Grande Cypress!
Carlos Canessa★★★★★3 years agoGreat staff. Very clean and everyone is so nice and polite.
