After living with my daughter and SIL, i wanted to find a place for myself. I shopped around several communities, but after visiting Discovery Village Independent Living, I immediately knew it was the perfect place for me. I loved the apartment floor plan, and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Everyone is always willing to help. Anyone considering a move is welcome to come speak with me on their tour. I have never thought I’d feel so relaxed and at home. I love all the activities and the food! I enjoy helping new residents get to know the community.
Discovery Village at the Forum in Fort Myers, FL. We just checked my stepmother into Discovery Village and are very pleased with the facility! Extremely clean, great daily menu and great food, a movie theater, putting green, swimming pool, library, game rooms and daily activities. This facility has it all. The rooms are bright and cheery and the staff is very upbeat and proactive on making it a great experience for the residents. Mary White was the point person at Discovery Village who helped us through the entire process - Mary is very knowledgeable, upbeat, energetic, friendly, and made the whole experience a great experience. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to stay in an independent living apartment, I would highly recommend Discovery Village in Fort Meyers.
As someone in the local community, I’ve heard consistently positive things about Discovery Village at the Forum Assisted Living. The staff has a great reputation for being caring and professional, and the community always appears clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. It’s reassuring to know there’s a place like this available for local seniors and their families.
I recently visited Discovery Village Independent living with my Grandson, and attended their happy hour event. I really enjoyed the live music, and all the residents were very welcoming. The food was very tasty as well. I would recommend to others.
We couldn’t be more grateful for the care my aunt receives at Discovery Village at the Forum. The memory care team in particular has been outstanding. They show so much compassion, understanding, and respect to every resident. It’s clear that the staff genuinely loves what they do. The environment is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and safety. Every time we visit, we see residents engaged, smiling, and treated with dignity. It means the world to know she is in such good hands.
