They took the time to get to know my mother’s personality, medical history, and preferences. The staff offers gentle reassuring hugs and a warm smile during a confusing moment. They handle every situation with grace and expertise. The environment itself is welcoming, beautiful, clean, calm, and intentionally designed to feel like home. The daily activities are thoughtful and engaging without being overwhelming. Communication with our family has been outstanding. We are kept informed of any changes in healthcare or routines, making us feel like true partners in this journey. We are incredibly grateful for the love and joy you have brought into our lives. Seeing my mother smile, laugh, and thrive is priceless. We are truly grateful.
I toured Barrington Terrace anticipating placement in memory care for my husband. I was impressed by the level of care I witnessed with two levels of memory care for those who need more independence and those requiring a greater level of supervision. The best endorsement came from a gentleman who came to check on his wife. He said "stop looking, this the place you want.". I had seen his wife earlier and she was dancing to Michael Jackson songs with a smile on her face.
We had a wonderful experience with Mindy and her team at Barrington Terrace. From the very beginning, they were attentive, compassionate, and truly committed to providing excellent care. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that both residents and families felt supported, informed, and comfortable.

My mother has been a resident at Barrington Terrace for over two years, first in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care. As her daughter and healthcare power of attorney, I live out of state, so communication and trust are extremely important to me.
Throughout my mother's stay, I have found the staff to be caring, compassionate, and responsive. Moving a loved one into memory care is never easy, but the team has worked with me to support my mother through many changes in her health and cognition. They have been willing to answer questions, provide updates, and collaborate on her care.
I especially appreciate the kindness shown by staff members who take the time to know residents as individuals. My mother has complex needs, and while no facility is perfect, I am grateful for the efforts the team makes every day to keep her safe, comfortable, and engaged.

After touring several ALFs for Dad, we found his new home at Barrington Terrace. We feel that BT of Ft Myers is a great fit for Dad's needs while being surrounded by people who truly care. The facility size and atmosphere, the administration and staff, the activities and community feel, the patient care and concerns have surpassed our expectations.
