We are so grateful for the care our mom receives in memory care at Lighthouse Senior Living in Dunedin. Making the decision to place a loved one in memory care is never easy, but the team here has truly given us peace of mind.
The staff is compassionate, attentive, and treats residents with dignity and kindness. A special thank you to Alexis, who goes above and beyond every single day. She takes such incredible care of the residents and is always available to answer questions or simply offer reassurance when we need it most. Her kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed and mean the world to our family.
It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares, and that makes all the difference. We are thankful to have found a place where our mom is safe, supported, and cared for with such compassion.
Alexendrine ( Alexis), the Wellness Director is exceptional- thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable and the absolute epitome of a professional who understands the needs of seniors with dementia. Ben, the Director and the afternoon/night team are also very attentive, empathetic and they make a difference in people’s quality of life.

An angel in my father’s life
Dear Alexis, you are an angel and you brought so much joy, happiness and comfort to my dad. You are such a beautiful, kind and compassionate person and my family and I wish to thank you for your deep empathy and smile which beams joy and gives such light and humanity to all you touch you Alexendrine are truly a defender for mankind - a defender of humankind - am angel
A home-like (secured) assisted living facility that cares for & assists those with cognitive decline. The Resident Care Aides are compassionate and patient with the residents. They realize that we work in 'their' home; they are not living in our workplace. The food prepared is always delicious. The dietary staff is amazing. There are engaging activities daily with memory recall, games, music, Bingo! & one-on-one room visits. Our driven Wellness Coordinator works with the healthcare professionals (drs, nurses, and home health) to keep our residents thriving in their home.
I believe the smiling ladies who Paul referred to in his review still live there! I not only get the warmest smile, I get a hug and a kiss too when welcomed in the front door by the ladies that live there! I truly enjoy each and every time I visit my sister facility. Great staff and happy residents! Ask for Christine or Dragana, these ladies are perfect for working with memory impaired residents if you need a home for your loved one to thrive!
My mother has excellent loving care at this facility. She always looks clean and is well fed and has been treated with respect and kindness. The staff there has always been very kind to us her family. They have lots of patience with my mom bc the disease she has is so devasting to our entire family we have had to depend on them to give my mom the care she deserves in the end of her life. During Covid they did everything to keep the residence safe. I feel very blessed to have found this place for mom. Thanks everyone for all you have done for her and for me and Andrew.
