We moved into The Point at Deerfield last month and it has been a very positive experience. The residents and staff have made us most welcome. The food is great. It’s better than a lot of restaurants we’ve eaten at. There are plenty of activities available along with Happy Hours and Saturday night entertainment. My husband and I have been very happy here.
My father moved into Assisted Living at the Point two years ago and is living his best life! Dad is 96 years young, cognitive and mostly independent. He thrives with the incredible care of their AL team. Kudos to Cindy M., AL Director of resident care. This woman gives generous time to each resident to feel valued, without exception. Thank you to the entire AL team at The Point for taking great care of Dad!
While we did not end up placing my father at The Pointe at Deerfield for logistical reasons (proximity), I wanted to take a moment to write a review that might be helpful to others who are in the process of searching for an appropriate assisted living home for their loved one. First of all, the Sales Director Daniel, who in reality is more "Cruise Director" than salesperson, is a warm, talented and competent professional. He is clearly a major part of this very vibrant independent and assisted living facility. And that, I would say to people searching for a good home for their loved one is of critical importance - is this place vibrant, fun and full of life? From all indications, we would say yes! This recently updated and modern facility is a winner. It is also obvious that staff cares deeply for its clients and there is minimal staff turnover. That speaks highly of management. It is also located in a quiet and beautiful spot. It's worth serious consideration.
We are so pleased with the pointe. We are so grateful that Cindy medaling came to legacy to introduce my dad and evaluate him. Stephanie southern was also amazing and all the nurses and staff have been so loving and kind. We are so grateful. We have been recommending The Pointe to all my patients and friends. 💝💝💝
We moved my dad here in March and it's been wonderful. The staff remembers his name, which sounds small but means everything when you're trusting strangers with your parent. His apartment is bigger than we expected — he's got a balcony overlooking the courtyard and he sits out there every morning with his coffee. The dining room feels like a real restaurant, not a cafeteria. He's made friends at the bar (The Upper Deck) and joined a writing group he won't stop talking about. Honestly, after touring six places in Broward County, this was the only one where my dad said "I could live here" within the first five minutes. That told us everything.
