The work they do is far more than a profession. Day after day, they provided patience, dignity, love, support, encouragement, and companionship to residents, while also offering reassurance to families who entrust their loved ones to their care. I witnessed countless acts of kindness, both large and small, that brought comfort and joy to my Mom and gave me peace of mind. Whether it was a warm smile, a gentle touch, a shared laugh, or simply taking a few extra moments to brighten her day, those gestures meant more than you will ever know.
Memory care requires not only skill and dedication but also tremendous compassion. We are profoundly grateful for the warmth, respect, and genuine concern everyone there showed Mom throughout her journey. Knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared for her was an incredible gift to me and my family.. We will always remember the kindness and the loving care they provided to our mother. Barbara's life was a blessing to all who knew her, and we are deeply grateful that, in her final years, she was cared for by such a remarkable group of people.
My Mom, Dottie, was at Balfour for about a year before she passed earlier this year. She and her dog Lilly stayed at Balfour in assisted living and then as her dementia worsened had to move to memory care without her dog. I want to say that Balfour was truly amazing to my mom. Food was great so I never hesitated to eat there with her on a very regular basis. But most importantly, the staff was incredible. The nurses and techs were so kind, supportive, and caring to her (and I) I can’t really single one person out. Things weren’t always perfect of course, but nowhere is in heath care of any type. But the true care for my mom and I showed every day and I will be forever grateful to everyone there. Management has created a culture of caring. That’s so hard in these challenging atmospheres. Thanks to Kellaway for that- she is special. I haven’t been emotionally able to return since clearing out moms room, but all is can say is THANKS- my love to you all for your help and care. And a special shout out to Tru Hospice as well. Amazing care and coaching/support for me.
Amazing staff! This place is absolutely stunning. They all give the best service and you can tell they enjoy their career and strive to maintain 5 star quality for anyone who walks through the door. It's such a pleasure to see such kind hearted associates. Great job!
By far, the highest quality Assisted Living and Memory Care in Longmont, hands down. I visited them all and am 1000% happy with my choice to help my Mother move in to the Balfour. The staff are super high quality and all really CARE about community members and provide wonderful service. I can't say enough nice things about the Balfour and I recommend it to anyone who listens!
I moved to Balfour Longmont shortly after it was built ant opened for occupants. I have never regretted that decision. This is an attractive, clean, well managed place, and I've met wonderful friends here. The activities in the independent living space are inviting and promote engagement and good health. My husband was also well served by the Memory Care staff in that attached facility. It was convenient and satisfying for us to have our different physical requirements met n the same place.
