The staff at Upham took amazing care of my father when it was no longer safe to have him at home. Their compassion, kindness, and generosity quickly set our minds at ease that he was in a place that he would be well taken care of. A special shout out to Alyssa, Liset, Mariah and Issac for showing the whole family such care and support.
This is the place, when that heart wrenching decision needs to be made for your loved one. Memory care is understood, your loved one will be well cared for allowing you the caretaker to have peace of mind. Unfortunately, this disease has come way too early to my mothers precious life and the road has been difficult, save your time and heartache. Applewood is well known in the community to be the BEST and IS the best facility. The ability to choose from different options to fit my mothers needs and finances has removed a lot of stress for our family. This facility provides amazing activities with their long time activities coodinator-Nora she strives at creating great memories The care is tailored
to each individuals needs.
What a Truly Phenomenal HOUSE for dementia residents!!! All of the staff are genuinely invested in every single resident individually. My Mother lived there for over a year and I am eternally grateful for all the kindness, care and LOVE that flows seamlessly throughout every day!! As a care manager, I work with many communities. I recognize those with mental health and cognitive challenges have been dealt a challenging hand. It truly take a village to do it right. The Golden house with Lea and her team along with many others jumping in supported my client until it was time for her to say goodbye here on earth. Lea has an amazing way of never giving up on someone no matter how difficult it can be. Her team stands beside her and they follow in the same footsteps. If you are looking for a forever place for your loved one or a client, as I was, do not hesitate to see what Applewood offers.
It has taken me way too long to write this review. My Dad lived at Applewood Our House for about 7 months. It was a tough decision but the right decision. EVERYONE there is AMAZING. I really can’t thank them enough for the love, compassion, and over the top care they show all the residents. Their jobs are not easy and they do what they do because it is in their heart to give everyone attention, respect, and shown love every day. They do it well!
Now that my Dad has passed, I truly miss the staff and the other residents. They all became part of my family. I cannot say enough how much they made a difference in my Dad’s life. Thank you so much. ❤️
