Leaving this review here for everyone to know Groves doesn't regard quality of life in their neighborhoods. After multiple attempts to ask them to effectively change their high pitched door alerts every time a staff member opens and closes the doors which cause stress, anxiety, trauma and health issue to people in nearby homes, they have done nothing to remedy this issue. And ultimately i ask you - would you want your loved ones to have to endure this severe nervous system disruption as a resident to this place, when you most likely want them to have a nice place to live out their remaining time on the planet?
I think not. Fair warning.
I'd ask them to remedy this immediately if you are seeking their services to help yourself, or a loved one before you commit to this literal torture on the nervous system and quality of life.
My brother spent the last month of his life at Plum Tree House (one of the Groves 6 houses), and for all of our family, it was by far the most positive experience of the last 6 months of his illness. The staff was so kind and went out of their way to make both my brother and I feel welcome and cared for, right from the first day. The environment is very cozy and home-like, and Dave felt comfortable right away ~ which certainly isn't something I can say about other places he's been. I would most definitely recommend the Groves to anyone. Thanks so much, all of you, who were there for Dave on his final Journey. You guys are the best!
My mother recently passed away after living at The Groves for 3 years. End of life stuff is difficult at best and she had been other places, but we found this for her as her forever home. The people are good and kind, the facility is lovely. The food's not bad, either!
The short time my mother was at Peach Tree. 🍑 Norma and her staff did a fabulous and fantastic job on making my mom as comfortable as can be. We are truly grateful. ❤️
