My Mom moved in 5 weeks ago. This is a wonderful place. The employees that I have met ( There have been quite a few). Can't remember all there names. Some of them are Bre (she was first one who we did a few tours with) Eva, Amanda, Hayden, Alyssa, Clayton and Kadie and more are just great! Residents are welcoming and they are always around. They dont stay in there rooms. They are out there visiting, doing activities (there are so many activities!) This had made the transition so much better and while it is an adjustment, it is an easier adjustment. We can visit anytime. Someone is always at front desk 24 hrs a day. I am including pictures of entrance at night because there are day photos on here and I love this view. They have happy hour every week with music too.
My mom moved into Broadway Proper a month ago. The staff has been wonderful. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and helpful. I want to give a big shout out to the Health and Wellness Department. My mom fell twice two nights ago. The Health and Wellness staff were quick to respond. While I was with her in the ER, April, the Health and Wellness Director, called to check on her. When she returned to her apartment that evening, she called again. The following morning April and other staff members checked on her. I am extremely pleased with how well they take care of the residents.
My mother-in-law lived at Broadway Proper (BP) for over 8 years. She recently moved to memory care at a different community. We were truly blessed by the exceptional care she received. Everything we experienced during her stay was positive. The level of professionalism, medical competency, compassion, friendliness and followthrough from April, Director of Health and Wellness, and Amber, Assisted Living Care Coordinator, by far exceeded all expectation. They went above and beyond in all circumstances. The caregivers were so well trained, kind and compassionate. BP's management and admin staff were very responsive, professional, and friendly. Dining staff did an incredible job providing well coordinated, quality and varied meals. The facility was always clean and well maintained. If BP offered memory care, we never would have moved. We miss Broadway Proper very much. I honestly have zero complaints.
Moving here from The Villages, Florida The number 1 senior community in the world i thought i would be bored. Instead I found an active, vibrant community that offers a variety of activities, from card games, exercise classes, bingo, pokeno, arts and crafts, trivia and discussion groups. I also found the residents helpful and friendly and made many new friends. I highly recommend Broadway Proper to those looking for a place to call home.
Broadway Proper ruined us! Why? Because it's just too perfect. Due to family circumstances, we had to move Mom. We did our due diligence and searched high and low for another place similar to Broadway Proper. A similar place does not exist. So, we've had to settle for an, "Eh, it's 'aight, but not as good as Broadway Proper," kind of place and constantly compare the two. We'd have given anything to pick up Broadway Proper and move it with us.
A heartfelt thank you to every single staff member who made Mom feel so very loved and cared for. She misses the exciting activities and all of the wonderful friends she made. We all miss you terribly. Much love!
The Feldt family. ❤️
