My mom was at Liberty for 6 weeks on hospice before she passed away. The owners also work as caregivers here, which I think is a big plus. Shyhrete is a wonderful, genuine caregiver. She and her staff took care of my mom as if she was family. The level of communication, keeping me informed of my mother’s condition, was exceptional. Shyhrete was very upset when notifying me of my mom’s passing, as I think she gets attached to all of her residents.
My mom had celiac disease and required a gluten-free diet. The folks at Liberty didn’t know much about gluten-free food at the start (& the first day was a little rough), but they worked with me to support my mom’s dietary needs. They let me bring in bags of her favorite GF oatmeal, which they prepared for her at breakfast. They would give her blueberries, peaches, and bananas regularly. They let me bring in GF bread for them to make sandwiches, and if they ran out before my next visit, Shyhrete would buy GF bread for her. They also bought her many GF snacks, and made her delicious GF spaghetti & meatballs that she loved. This menu flexibility might not seem like a big deal to some, but I think it’s atypical for senior care homes. I checked with 3-4 other ones before choosing Liberty. The other homes either wouldn’t support a GF diet, or would do GF but with a set menu, and wouldn’t allow me to supply simple meal ingredients like the ones I mentioned.

Shyhrete and Hamid were so wonderful and caring to our dad the entire time he was there. They treated him like family. I cannot have asked for him to have better care and a more beautiful place to spend his last days. Their staff is equally as caring.
My family member received excellent, compassionate care at Liberty. Shyhrete, Hamid and all the staff are warm, thoughtful people. My husband and I are thankful that we found such a wonderful place.
My husband received loving care here for over a year. At no time did he complain and was content. He was always clean and comfortable. He always felt safe here.
LHCAL was built from Love and Care from the very start! The owners have worked relentlessly for their residents and families to give them the highest level of care! Everything from Privacy to Care is handled with the upmost Respect and Professionalism. Residents experiences the comfort of home with Staff to attend their every needs. I could go on and on about the positive things but that’s something you’ll have to see. Trusting your love ones here is guaranteed to be satisfied!
